Ok. its been a while again but with half term holidays, trips away in the caravan and time needed to recover, it seems I have done nothing! It's been a rolllercoaster of a ride recently. I sure hope we're over that last big hill and getting back to solid ground soon. I should be resting, but no, I am researching about Aspergers Syndrome. Why? Because it has been suggested that Daniel has it and is going through all the assessments. I'm feeling mixed emotions at the moment, as if he does have it we can get him all the help and support he needs, but how will it affect his future? What I do know though is that we will love him and support him whatever.

Thankfully the hot days seem to be behind us now. I know many of you will be longing for those long hot days of summer, but I function better when it is cooler! One of the downsides of the M.E. I suppose. It does give me more of an opportunity to get my crafty head on and get creative! So here are a few of my recent creations.
This is one of my favourite cards. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and cricut sweethearts cartridge coloured on the cricut imagine machine. I think it is elegant in its simplicity, but hey - I made it so I love it any way!!
Again, I used the cricut imagine to colour the image, but this time a hoot & holler cartridge. I wasn't sure about the flowers to start with, but I do think they help to bring the image together. Well time to go and make some christmas cards now. Ho Ho Ho xx

Too hot to think!

This hot weather is playing havoc with my creativity! The sun is in my craft room most of the morning, which is lovely for daylight, but awful for heat. The only real time i get to create is in the morning when Sophie is having a nap.

I need to rest in the afternoon, so creativity goes out of the window!

What about evenings I hear you say? Well. Its as simple as this - I go to bed when the kids go to bed!

So as you see. Heat + M.E. = no work done!

Latest creations

As promised here are a few of my latest cards.

This one was made using the blossom cartridge from the cricut imagine and mothers day and cindy loo cricut cartridges.

This new baby card was again made using the cricut imagine with nursery tales cartridge and the cindy loo font

This is another card made using the blossom cartridge for the cricut imagine and Cindy Loo font.I used a Tim Holtz Sizzix die to make the rosette flowers.

They are all personalised as the recipients have unusual names or unusual spellings!

I finally did it!

It must be over a year ago since I set up my account with the intention of starting my blog, so why did it take so long to submit my first post?

One word - Sophie!!

Ok, I can't blame it all on her, but having a baby, a 4 year old who had just started school and chronic fatigue syndrome to cope with, the blog was the last thing on my mind!

But here I am.

Sophie is 9 1/2 months. Daniel is settled(ish) in school, and I still have M.E.

I have finally got back into card making and feel like I have begun to find my mojo again.

I'll add some pics of my latest creations later when the kids are in bed.
